1. Content Site.
2. Minisite.
Some gurus will recommend you to go through the route of a content site while others will sing the praises of a minisite.
You need to realize that these gurus recommend that you create a minisite or a content site based on their experience with the system they have chosen to make money online.
You have to test what works best for you and then make your decision as to which system you want to go with the content site or a minisite route.
Starting a free internet business online is easy once you know how to get around creating your own profitable empire.
If you are a newbie let me give you some suggestions. Before that let me tell you what is a content site and what is a minisite.
1. Content Site – This is a site which is filled up with HUGE content that might go to hundreds and in some cases thousands of pages focussed in a particular niche.
The main purpose for which these content sites are created is to drive traffic from search engines as they love sites with huge content focussed in a particular niche.
The creator of these sites mainly research hundreds of keywords and then they create one article ( similar to this one ) with the keyword included in the article around 1% to 2% of the document.
The article is usually around 400 to 500 words. They keep creating articles for their sites by the hundreds to get attention and free traffic from search engines.
2. Minisite – One to five page site is known as a minisite who’s sole purpose is to either make a sale and sell a product or to get the visitor to subscribe to their list.
A product sales pitch is known as a salesletter. A webpage that collects leads is known as a squeeze page.
The focus of a minisite is just one. Either it wants to sell a product or get the lead or any action that the minisite is created for.

1. First go about creating a minisite that collects leads.
Test it so that it converts at least 30% of your visitors into subscribers.
Create a killer follow up system that sells either your product or affiliate products.
If you are selling your own products create more minisites that are purely salesletters to sell your own product.
Test your product conversion as well. How it is converting and get it to at least 1% to 2% or better from the people visiting your site.
2. Now that you have powerful converting minisites and a follow up system, it is time to get down serious business by driving free traffic from search engines through content sites.
Create a huge content site by researching heaps of keywords and writing articles. Drive all the traffic that your content sites receive to your minisites.
This will make sure that your content site is excellent in attracting traffic and your minisites are powerful in converting this traffic to dollars.
